I have been fond of anime shows around 2013 and
my hobby for drawing led me to draw my first official traditional fan art. I
then bought a sketch pad where I can properly draw and compile my drawings.
The very first character I decided to draw was
Kuchiki Rukia of Bleach. Why?
..because she is so adorable and cute and tough
at the same time.
Bleach is an anime about shinigami, particularly
about Kurosaki Ichigo helping the Seireitei catch Aizen Sousuke. Bleach was
written by Tite Kubo. It's manga and anime were already finished. If you like
watching anime, I very much recommend this show.
So going back to my drawing, this Rukia I drew
is her younger version. This is a screenshot from a scene where she was playing
with her childhood friends. She was sitting on a tree with a sarcastic smile
while ready to throw that powerful glowing orb on her hand. (It's been years so
pardon me for just calling it "powerful glowing orb") Haha!
Not like other artists, I really don't know what
pencil to use. But I have this HB pencil which has a darker stroke than a
regular pencil. I was able to play a bit with the shading with this pencil. You
know, just use whatever you have then upgrade later. Well, until this day I
still haven't upgraded. Hahaha!
So here's my very first traditional drawing, a
fan art. I wish I can be better at traditional drawing. :)
