Philippines! Put your kitsune up because BABYMETAL
is FINALLY COMING TO MANILA!!! Yes, you read it right! The kawaii metal
group is coming to perform in the Philippines!

PULP Live World recently announced
their official line up next year for the PULP SUMMER SLAM XX: JUDGEMENT DAY.
Iron Maiden will headline the metal festival and will be joined by bands
Dragonforce, Death Angel, King 810, and BABYMETAL. The PSS 2020 will set Mall
of Asia Arena on May 16, 2020 as it also marks the 20th anniversary of the
festival. PULP Summer Slam is the largest metal festival in Southeast Asia.
Tickets will go on sale on November
30. There are still no details regarding ticket prices and time of the event as
of now.
Iron Maiden will perform as the
headliner for the festival but I am here for BABYMETAL, so let's talk about
this only-girl group on the festival. I bet you still don't know about them.

BABYMETAL is a Japanese girl group comprising of
two members, Moa Kikuchi "Moa Metal" and Nakamoto Suzuka "Su
Metal". Their concept is a combination of kawaii, metal, and idol. They
are perceived as weird and beyond the norm in terms of musicality, because who
would have thought metal songs can be cute? Some doesn't approve of their music
but there were also people who have accepted them wholeheartedly to the metal
community. BABYMETAL has become a new metal genre and they gather fans from all
ages and of different music preference. Ever seen a concert with little girls,
metal heads, and old men enjoying music together? Only in BABYMETAL. Ever seen
a concert with metal fans and idol fans together? Only in BABYMETAL!
The power of BABYMETAL!!!
Of course, the group backed up by top Japanese
Musicians whom they collectively called as "Kami Band". They also
have a hand sign which they call "Kitsune sign" or fox sign. This
represents their imaginary God whom they call the Fox God. According to them,
only the Fox God knows what will happen to the group's future and they owe
everything to their God.

BABYMETAL used to have three members
but Yui Metal left the group last year due to health conditions and wanting to
pursue her career as herself. Today, they still perform as a three unit, with
the third member as temporary, filled in by three girls performing alternately.
The three temporary girls are called Avengers.
BABYMETAL has recently released
their third album entitled "Metal Galaxy". Their costumes were also
revamped; less frills to match their age because they are no longer little
girls. Their looks have become more lady-like and their dance moves become more
appropriate for their age.
SO..AM I
GOING TO THE PULP SUMMER SLAM?
Okay, so I've been listening to
BABYMETAL songs since 2015 and one of my dreams is to see them live. If I were
to answer this question then I would say yes in a heartbeat. They're performing
in my country, wouldn't that be a very good chance to see them, right? I'd love
to go but I am not sure if I have enough money for a ticket because money is a
little difficult for me right now.
I just wish there will still be
tickets available by thr time I get enough money to buy one. For BABYMETAL fans
who will surely go, enjoy and please cheer for them with all you can.
I really wish I can go because it
will be really sad for me and I might regret it I can't. It's still six months
from the special day and I pray that it doesn't get sold out soon. Hahaha.
